“A Christmas Message: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted”

2011 was a rough year for everyone. Perseverance was the word that from the Lord in the beginning of this passing year. God’s gift in this season is that He is so close to us and God is good and He is good all the time. The WORD OF THE LORD says: The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms: 34:18. This reminds me about Laminin.

The story of Laminin leads into considerations of Science and biology. The Oxford Dictionary defines laminin as a fibrous protein present in the basal lamina of the epithelia. The Webster Medical Dictionary defines laminin as a "glycoprotein that is a component of connective tissue basement membrane and that promotes cell adhesion," in other words looking at laminin as a kind of glue that holds the cells and tissues together in the human body.

The picture above is a graph of what Laminin looks resembling. Laminin is a type of protein that essentially holds us together. Colossians 1:15-17 states, "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things HOLD TOGETHER. "

Happy Christmas and all ways remember Christ is the reason for the season.
